Initial Consultation
This appointment will last one hour. During this visit, you will be interviewed regarding your current condition, lifestyle, and overall health. Relevant medical history will be reviewed and you are encouraged to bring any recent lab work, imaging reports (x-rays, MRI, ultrasound, etc.), current medication lists, or any other information you would like to provide. After performing any necessary diagnostics and examinations, we will discuss your current concerns and develop a treatment plan tailored to your wellness goals. You will also be prescribed a custom herbal formula based on your unique presentation. Generally, if it will be your first time taking Chinese herbs, we will set up another consult in a week to assess progress.
Follow-Up Treatments
A session will last around 30 minutes. We will review any changes in your presentation, as well as your experience with the prescribed formula. After the interview and diagnostics, we will make any necessary adjustments to the formula and resprescribe. Usually we prescribe for longer time periods after the 1st follow up treatment, generally giving patients 2-3 weeks worth of the formula. Subsequent follow up visits are scheduled in accordance with formula duration.
